26A – Celebrating Failure

26A – Celebrating Failure

Ever since I can remember myself, health took a big part of my life. My whole life I trying to keep a health and active lifestyle. The moment I started college I started gaining weight and for the past few months I have been trying to lose some of the extra pounds I have gained. Unfortunately, even with the amount of weekly exercise I have been taking upon myself, the numbers on my scale just kept raising. Moving to America from Israel made me change my diet from one end to another. I was used you eat healthy food that is not as accessible in the land of opportunities. I have trying to change my diet countless times from the beginning of the semester, but nothing seems to work.

This class have made me realize that failiur does not mean impossible. After only a few months taking this class I have been struck with a surge of energy that helps me to keep trying new and better ways to achieve my goals.

  1. Uri, trying to find a new diet in a new place can be difficult, but I bet you will get that all figured out. Failure is fortunately and unfortunately a part of life, but it is something that allows you to build on your previous blunders. I found myself improving on myself after doing terrible on an exam earlier this semester.

  2. Hi Uri,
Eating healthy in college is definitely a challenge for me as well. I’ve come to realize that performing well in every area of daily life depends on the energy received from eating the right food. Taking care of one’s body is extremely important to nurture the mind. I believe that you will find a solution to the problem soon enough, and maybe a business idea?
