3A – Your Entrepreneurship Story
Israel is home to many entrepreneurs who have changed the world for the better, but the one who changed my life the most was my father. My dad’s vocation varies from a basketball team manager and real estate owner to a movie producer and author. Experiencing my father's intense level of creativity daily, I decided to embark on my own project. After reading my father’s latest book, I came up with the idea of transforming the story into a movie script. I wished to tell a story of a bird with a fear of heights and after countless hours of hard work I was able to finish the first template in less than six months. I was able to take my first step towards making my dream a reality. The script was only recently audio recorded for the first time but with each day it is getting closer to becoming a big screen feature film.
I enrolled in ENT3003 in hopes that this class will be a guiding stepping stone towards opening my own business.
Uri your father’s many careers sound so exciting! From your post, he seems like a man who pursued his passions. That is an admirable characteristic and is a priceless trait for the role model of a child. It is impressive that you are so passionate and are dedicated to turning your dreams literally into reality using the art of film. I would be interested to see your project once it is complete. I hope this class helps you refine your entrepreneurial process and vision.
ReplyDeleteUri, your father’s entrepreneurial experience is very cool and its awesome that you decided to make a screenplay based off of his book. It is very ambitious to try to make a movie in today’s day and age but it shows your passion and drive to do so. I too hope to learn the steps and mentality needed to start my own business.
